The atmosphere is amazing! However, the prices are a bit steep. Things have certainly changed post-COVID, and like many other places, they’ve had to adapt. You can only place orders using a table number and a QR code, which can be problematic, especially when large groups occupy all the chairs, leaving no tables with numbers to order from. What John L dislikes about Gorrono Ranch:
B. Good size diverse menu for a lunch break on the mountain. Good quality was as expected for a class above concession food. Seems like it is all about the outside atmosphere with a snow beach and Telluride Brewing company bar. But inside is minimal room and a tad rundown. View all feedback.

The menu features a variety of delicious options, including burgers, chili, BBQ, and snacks. I've also enjoyed a couple of catered buffets outside with the ski clubs I go with, where they even bring out outdoor grills. My personal favorite is the pulled pork sandwich. Occasionally, Telluride Brewing Co. sets up for complimentary beer tastings, which is always a nice touch. The ranch is named after the family that established it and is known as a "snow beach" thanks to the colorful lawn chairs available for lounging. From your chair, you can also enjoy beautiful views of Mount Wilson—this mountain even inspired the Coors logo on their cans. If you're on your skis and need a quick break, this mid-mountain ranch is the perfect place to stop. Additionally, they offer options for renting the venue for private events like weddings during the off-season.

We found ourselves hovering around table #3, just waiting for someone to bring out our food. Despite that, we still visit regularly, but the prices are outrageous—$9 for some really good French fries, and $8 for a can of beer. I suspect that a lot of the price increase is due to the removal of self-service options. The vibe and the chili are definitely worth experiencing, but be prepared for some high costs!

Gorrono's is a solid choice for lunch in Telluride. The food is tasty, but if you're looking for healthier options, you might want to consider other places. During busy times, the online payment process can be a bit frustrating since you can only pay with a card through the QR code. The atmosphere is lovely, and on a chilly day, you can cozy up by the fire. It may not be the top spot on the mountain, but it certainly isn't the worst either.

Once great place reduced to horrific. Once was a cafeteria style destination resturant on the mountain only reachable by skiing where they actually made food and you could stop in and eat quickly in a cool eclectic environment, grand a drink and sit and listen to music. TODAY, it is a minimum 75 minute ordeal, you order on line, but the WI-Fi rarely connects, you have to wait 60 minute for your food which arrives COLD and SOGGY, by a surly server who could careless while demanding a big tip on line. The foods is simply BAD. The service is WORST. The atmosphere is gone. They sell store process junk, and probably micro wave everything for all you know, but there is zero taste and even kids no longer want to go there. One star is generous, oh, and then they double our order and charged us for sets of meals, so we stopped payment on the extra order that arrived just as we finished eating what we could before heading back out on the slopes. This is no longer a desirable destination............

Amazing spot for an apres-ski! It's a great spot for drinks with a group, and I've hear the food is decent. You usually have to wait for a table for a large group, but at 3pm we did not (party of 8). Just make sure to avoid the moguls on your way to it!
