The Blue Hut - Teignmouth

This restaurant is like a hidden gem. It's literally a small hut with no indoor seating, only outside overlooking the beach. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and the scenery is beautiful. It's located at the end of the beach road, but tucked away on the back of the beach with no vehicle access. There is parking nearby, and they also offer a secret lemonade that is fantastic. Additionally, they serve Bao beer with traditional garnishes and even have a tofu option. While not exclusively vegan, they have great vegan food options available.

We had the best lunch of the summer at this restaurant, despite the bad weather. We dined outside and enjoyed the delicious mackerel tacos, which were full of flavor, while braving the strong wind. We also had excellent flat whites. The meal was for lunch and cost between £10-20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a top rating of 5. We recommend trying the Falafel Wrap and Banh Mi dishes.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the delicious food and friendly service. They offer tables outside with views of the river, making it a great spot for lunch. I highly recommend this place for its excellent food, top-notch service, and lovely atmosphere.

Even though the menu is limited (it is literally a hut!), I have enjoyed both the falafel wrap and the breakfast burrito at this restaurant. I would definitely recommend trying them.
