Contribute FeedbackI had originally planned to get a salad box from Nourish, a fully vegan cafe in a nearby town, but they had stopped serving food when I arrived. I was hungry and looking for an alternative, and the vegan ice cream from Roskilly's turned out to be a fun choice. The ice cream is made by a brand called Vibe, and while I had never heard of them before, I found it to be creamy and enjoyed the raspberry ripple and chocolate flavors. The mint chocolate chip tasted a bit like toothpaste, but the mango flavor was nice. The price of £2.50 per small tub is on the expensive side. The ingredients mainly consist of coconut cream and emulsifiers, with a disclaimer that it may contain milk and gluten. While this may be a concern for some strict vegans, I didn't mind too much. It's unfortunate that this disclaimer seems to be common among vegan products now. Roskilly's did a good job of offering vegan options separate from their dairy products to prevent cross-contamination. Overall, I was impressed by the cozy atmosphere of the salon and the variety of vegan flavors in this traditional coastal village. It was a great experience!
