Regular customer who has ordered many times. Phoned last night shortly before 8pm and was told it will be 45mins wait no sign of delivery at 9.45pm so called to find out where the food was. Person who answered said they were down to one delivery driver and it would be here in 5 15mins it did arrive but it was stone cold. A good choice here. Nice sized portions and very tasty. Friendly staff. Quite busy which is always a good sign as people do not go back if it is not good.
I ordered Cod Chips with curry sauce from this Fish and Chip Shop for £7.80, which I found to be quite expensive. The food was nicely presented in a box with paper wrapped around it. However, I was disappointed with the portion size of the fish once I opened the batter. The fish was small and thin, covered in thick batter. The chips were chewy, suggesting they may have been sitting for a while. I ate my meal in the car park behind the shop. The curry sauce was delicious, but I had to purchase a large container that was too much for one person. It would be nice if they offered a smaller size option. The staff member who served me was friendly and talkative. Overall, I don't think I will be returning to this Fish and Chip Shop as I believe it could be better.
The food is delicious and not oily. It has lots of flavor and is reasonably priced. The staff is great, and you can either dine in or take out for the same prices. It's a fantastic place to eat.
