Sometimes the batter can be greasy but this was spot on. Chips were perfect and the mushy peas so tasty. I will definately be going back when i am next in South Devon. Well done excellent food

Used this place for many years and always worth the money and the wait during busy times, but unfortunately the last two times have been very disappointing. The... read more Used this place for many years and always worth the money and the wait during busy times, but unfortunately the last two times have been very disappointing. The batter use to be crispy and the fish flakey, on the last two occasions in July and august 24 the batter was very very greasy and the fish certainly did not taste fresh. At £34.50 for three take away fish and chips, will be giving this place a miss. Will try again when the summer season is over. But until then, I will look for somewhere else. The grease was so bad it soaked through the box all over my shirt.

We bought 2 large cod, 2 battered sausages and 2 large portions of chips for just over £30 and it amply fed 4 adults and 2 kids. The takeaway was busy when we ordered but we only waited for 15 or 20 minutes before our number was called.
