We had gone from maidencombe to shaldon (where we could not see where we could accept dogs and walk-ins on a Sunday). most places were closed or booked on Sunda... read more We had gone from maidencombe to shaldon (where we could not see where we could accept dogs and walk-ins on a Sunday). most places were closed or booked on Sunday, but this was open and took dogs and. they had a table. we had a couple of suppers and a good coffee. the menu was simple, but the place was clean. not much too day really.

Staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the menu offered options for everyone's taste. Lovely sweet and savoury items along with piping hot coffee. Just the...job for a July morning in the rain!!!
