The Ness restaurant offers a mixed experience for diners. While the ambience and views are wonderful, the food quality has been inconsistent. We had a very mixed experience here, the welcome was good and we were sat at our reserved table promptly however we were not given any menus or any offer of a drink. After collecting our drinks and menus we then ordered the meals, My smoked haddock dish was ok if a bit expensive but the burgers were awful and very overpriced, the staff were willing at times and unresponsive at other times,all in all this was a very average and expensive experience.
A delicious meal for Mothers Day. Fantastic service too. Tasty food and drink and all very good value for money. We sat in one of the boat tables which gave a lovely private dining feel and we were able to enjoy family conversation over lunch. A special small gift cracker made the whole experience at The Ness even more special....Thank you to all of the staff you are all doing a brilliant job
