We moved Dawlish about 6 months ago and have started only recently visiting the Lansdowne. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. They are child friendly (Alfie loves the stage area). I can see this become our full on local over the coming months.

We had a few drinks before heading to a restaurant we had reservations at. I was impressed by the warm welcome we received, the friendly locals who opened doors for us, the delightful bar staff, the humorous man with colorful hair, and the owner Andy! Thank you for a fabulous time, we will definitely be back to try your breakfast on Friday before we leave. Thank you!

We tried the breakfast at this restaurant and were impressed with the high quality of the items on the plate. The portion was big enough for the two of us to share, and the food remained hot until we finished the meal. The beer was served in the correct glass for the brand and at the right temperature. The staff were friendly and accommodating to most requests. The table was clean, but we did notice that the carpet in the back bar was pretty shabby and dirty, so we deducted one star for that. However, the breakfast was easily the best we have had in Dawlish over the years, so we will definitely be returning.
