I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Mei Lai. Normally we are satisfied with our meals there, but this time the food was lacking in flavor and overly salty. There is definitely room for improvement. View all feedback.
I was disappointed with my recent dining experience at this restaurant. I usually like their special fried rice, which is normally packed with meat, some sauce, and layers of chicken and duck on top. However, on my last visit, the rice only had chicken and prawns, and what looked like gravy on top. The meat was really dry. Dinner cost between £10-£20 per person. I would give the food a 1 out of 5 and the service a 4 out of 5.
We’ve had takeaways from Mei Lai at least once a month for 3 years. Always ordered via the website and now the app. Deliver ed in good time or ready to collect very quickly. Always got what we ordered which has always been piping hot and tasty. Food: 5 Service: 5

This Chinese takeout is excellent - the food is fresh and not too dry. I recommend giving them a call to place your order.
