I felt like I was transported back to France when I saw a window display full of chocolate Easter creations at this restaurant. I wasn't able to purchase any since I was just passing through, but I did pick up a delicious tomato and ham quiche for my supper.
We have dined at this restaurant multiple times during our visits to Teignmouth. Each time, the food has been fantastic, from the pasties to the cakes. The coffee is delicious, served in large cups and piping hot all the way to the bottom.
As a coffee lover who has been told to restrict caffeine intake, it is great to have a place that serves decaf coffee that is as good as the regular stuff. I would go as far as to say that their decaf is as good as any regular coffee served in Teignmouth. The cakes and pastries are all delicious and there is always a decent choice in the window. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Amazing array of pastries if you want something different to your Devon cream tea (although they do amazing scones too).

The terrace series at this restaurant is gorgeous and cozy. It may be small, but it feels like a TARDIS—compact on the outside yet overflowing with delicious, hearty bites. I’m so glad I found this place, but be sure to get there early since they tend to sell out quickly!
Large little jewel of this quiet sea town. always a warm, welcoming service, never feel hastened. really delicious and different selection on terrace series and traditional favorites, made with care, all reasonable prices. love the fact that they can also buy French cookies and other continental specialties there, wished there were more dealers like luder’s!
Wonderful cheese straw, beautiful baked and cake. a real sniff of yummy-ness. I recently tried their chocolates on the ground and they are divine! Do not miss this place when they are so down.
I went to the luders patisserie today, my first visit to teignmouth. I had suppe and it was absolutely delicious with a beautiful fresh butter roll. my man had one of the homemade pasties and said it was great. the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to get her food from here and know that they get a delicious meal. if I lived closer, I would often use it and will be sure to go back there when I am next in devon.
1 person in at a time which to be fair would be crowded if more than a couple were inside at any one time. Had a cornish pasty which was proper lush. The right combination of filling to pastry fairly priced too. Highly recommended
