Easy to book, very friendly service, warm room, good table, excellent food. the first Sunday dinner we had in old because of covid, and we were not disappointed. good choice of meat and veg. we come back.

A nice reception at the arrival. the carvery is amazing, definitiw good value! pity that the sitting was, without ventilation, we are very hot, especially when a fry! we asked to go to an outside table where we were quickly accented, and offered a table in the expansion where we could get some air from an open door. Too bad that the staff was not a bit happier, a smile goes far. we sometimes felt a bit unpleasant, our friend is risk of falling when she gets too hot, and a medical condition is not always taken into account. we would definitely return because eating is great. already recommended for friends and family! I can't wait to return.

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday with friends at this restaurant and we all had the carvery. I must say, it was the best carvery I have had in a long time. I opted for Turkey and beef, and both were delicious. The Yorkshire puddings were fantastic, and the selection of vegetables was cooked perfectly. I want to give compliments to the chef and the kind owner of the restaurant. Well done! Overall, it was excellent and I left feeling completely satisfied. Thank you.

We had a reservation for four at 12:30, and our order was taken promptly, but our food did not arrive until 1:30, which was not acceptable. I ordered the Aberdeen Angus burger and chips, but it was just average. The chips were not great, and the side salad and coleslaw were poor. The dessert was good, which somewhat made up for the disappointing main course, but overall, it was a disappointing meal.

I had dinner at this pub last night while visiting friends in the area. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The menu offers a wide variety of options to suit everyone's tastes. The marmalade bread and butter pudding was a perfect way to end our meal. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this pub.
