After a nice walk around park we stopped at the local farm café and had one of the best cream teas for a long time. the scones were perfect and so delicious. compliments to the appropriate cook. 10/10. the staff was very warm and welcoming and the caffe was smart. Really nice location to go for a walk, there were 3 pre signposted routes of various length of you could go your own way. Plenty of trails to explore and streams for young ones and dogs to play in. Plenty of paths through the woods and also some through fields. Some step climbing depending on which path you choose and also a challenging but fun parkrun on Saturday mornings. Only criticism was the car park was very full the mid week morning we visited but we did eventually get a space. Also has a cafe and toilets near the car park.
Lovely people, lovely food and the large pot of tea was 'just ' the job. Set in a beautiful location with some stunning views.... Take a camera.....
Lovely food again. Very tasty, very filling, great quality. Spoilt for choice, I don’t know whether to have the same again next time or try something different. Tricky one!
We had the take away menu for 2 on 27th March. A real treat. Food was fabulous. Easy to order on line and easy and safe collection on the day. Great serving instruction that were simple and straightforward. We so miss eating out. This really cheered us both up. We will be back!!
Ordered the Saturday 3 course for 2 people was really lovely quality ingredients so easy to finish off at home with great instructions just like having a restaurant meal at home would definitely recommend and would have again thankyou
