A chance stop in Dawlish and well worth it. The friendliest staff we have encountered on our UK trip so far. Super friendly staff. Coffee was good, scone was yummy but the home made cakes! Lemon drizzle cake with a tangy icing and slice of chocolate cake, light and fluffy with yummy icing. Worth the visit!! View all feedback.

This is a fantastic restaurant with friendly staff, a clean atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the West Country.

Daisy's Tea Room is a hidden gem. Our group of 6, ranging in age from 17 to 83, all found delicious food and drinks that suited our tastes. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and attentive despite the busy atmosphere. The tea room and tables were spotlessly clean. The menu had a variety of options to choose from, including a prawn sandwich with side salad and crisps, ham and cheese paninis with just the right amount of filling, a tasty prawn mayo salad, and soup of the day with a chicken sandwich. We also indulged in a slice of cake, which were all absolutely delicious - lemon drizzle, coffee and walnut, and Victoria sponge. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and we all left satisfied and eager to return.

Came for cream tea with our 6 year old Son and “his” dog. Really welcoming, good food and friendly staff. Can’t rate highly enough, thank you.

My wife decided we would have a late lunch while in Dawlish Daisy's tea room appeared the only welcoming place. Well, I was shocked the food was excellent. We both had ham and cheese ploughman's. Yes, we had to wait a while, but for quality, I am prepared to wait. This was worth the wait. Free rap water is a nice touch from a dispenser at from with plenty of glasses. Staff are attentive and good. the only slight thing was one member or staff overuse of darling when ordering. If this is all that's negative, this place is doing great in a hard climate.
