Have used this place several times recently and every time the food has been great. Large piece of crispy battered fish and huge portions of really tasty chips that are obviously made with good quality potatoes. The small portion of fish and chips at £6 is great value for money and you get plenty...more than enough for a adult! Highly recommended. View all feedback.

We ordered some cheese fries to go from this restaurant. We sat in the square to enjoy our meal. While the amount of cheese was good, we were disappointed to find that there were only 6 decent chips and the rest were scraps. We paid £4.50 for this. We will not be returning to this place again and cannot understand how it receives such high ratings. It is definitely one to avoid. View all feedback.
Great food amazing staff and fantastic portions .. fast friendly service far better than the other chippy down road
This place does massive portions at a good price .Not that great but does tasteing some times staff don't talk much English but if u don't have lot money and wont chips so on its a good place for that parking not so good
Decent down to earth local chippy, prices are a bit cheaper then the average and vast majority of the time you will get served instantly. food quality in the past was fairly average but in the last few months has shot up dramatically for both the fish and the chips sold here so in light of the change i would now recommend them. only sticking point i would have is that often the salt is not distributed very evenly over the chips but you can just close the box and give it a good shake and its not an issue
Dreadful. Soggy chips cooked in rancid oil. Worst pasty I’ve ever had. You might get lucky and end up with something edible but you probably won’t. Go elsewhere.
There were alot of chips but some hard.
