Reviews - Tea Donuts
Reviews summary
Nestled in the neighborhood, Tea Donuts earns praise for light, flaky, butter-rich donuts and oversized ham-and-cheese croissants. Owner-operated warmth and friendly staff make it a popular breakfast destination with early hours for commuters. Sandwiches and pastries often impress, though bagels are just okay. Occasional cleanliness concerns, order mix-ups and delivery/listing glitches temper an otherwise flavorful, homey spot—still worth a visit for fresh donuts and hearty breakfast sandwiches despite some service inconsistencies.
Was T H at Tea Donuts a mag?
Wow is all I can say. I was looking for a donutShop in Tehachapi to get donuts for my crew at work and was pleasantly surprised when I walked it. They have fancy gourmet donuts and they are very tasty. View all feedback.
What Kristen C dislikes about Tea Donuts:
The donuts were below average, and I found the cleanliness to be unsatisfactory. I'm honestly puzzled as to why this place is still in operation. There are many better donut options available in town. But this is just my personal opinion. View all feedback.

As someone who just moved to the area, I was on the lookout for local dining options and stumbled upon this gem. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely fantastic. I've returned for two consecutive days to sample various dishes and have yet to leave feeling disappointed. I will definitely be making this place a regular stop!
I work at the Rite Aid next door, and my co-workers say that their pastrami sandwiches are amazing! Sadly, they had no pastrami so i decided to try their ham and cheese. And it was absolutely amazing, me and my mom both loved the sandwich! The owner is unbelievably sweet and nice, as well as the other workers! I’m most definitely gonna be back, especially when they get pastrami!??
I love this place! Best fresh donuts and amazing service. However, I did try to order doordash delivery and on the doordash website it says that the store is closed, which is probably an error on doordash's end.
Tea Donuts serves the lightest, flakiest, and most delicious donuts in town. You can really savor the butter and the care that goes into each one! The staff here are incredibly friendly as well. I always order a regular glazed donut and a glazed twist, and I’m never let down. While the other popular spot in town has a bigger fanbase, when it comes to flavor, Tea Donuts clearly surpasses them.

I rated this restaurant 4 stars because the bagels were just "okay." We ordered a 9, which was a Ham, Egg, and Cheese Croissant Sandwich with Onions that my daughter absolutely loved. We also tried a 2, the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Bagel Sandwich, and a 3, the Ham, Egg, Cheese, and Onions Bagel Sandwich. I just wish they were toasted; I ended up putting them in my toaster oven. Nothing was bad, but nothing was truly exceptional either.

The donuts are tasty, but I specifically requested a "fancy donut" (bacon maple) in the comments section and even called to confirm my order. Unfortunately, they ended up sending me a bear claw instead.
