Was CazzaWestMids at Loris a mag?
Lovely little cafe in the heart of Teguise. Outside and inside seating areas and good choice of drinks and food. Fast service and super friendly staff. We were there on market day which is Sunday and the surrounding area was extremely busy. It was lovely to watch the world go by. There was a man singing to us which added to an already lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. View all feedback.
What rjkestle dislikes about Loris:
Terrible. We’ve visited this place so many times and it’s been fabulous, and left wonderful reviews. But Today we received two appalling drinks. The Barracuito which is usually splendid , was awful and the glass of wine tasted like vinegar. I kindly approached the waiter and showed him a photo of the wonderful drinks we’d had here two months ago and why we’d received these badly prepared drinks and he didn’t care. He... The Barracuito which is usually splendid , was awful and the glass of wine tasted like vinegar. I kindly approached the waiter and showed him a photo of the wonderful drinks we’d had here two months ago and why we’d received these badly prepared drinks and he didn’t care. He spoke excellent English, so it wasn’t lost in translation. It’s an expensive place, and this was a sad to see how the quality of their service has changed. Maybe it’s a one off?
We had a lovely lunch here. Friendly staff, quick service. Great prices. A really nice atmosphere inside and had a lovely table overlooking the square.
Found this place while at the Sunday market in Teguise. Busy spot but a table became available as we walked past. Staff very attentive. We ordered bruschetta with ham, cheese and tomato which was lovely. Only negative I would give is the toilets weren’t that clean, no toilet paper. Toilet paper can’t be put in the toilet personally I think it would be better to have a bin with a lid so that you’re not being greeted by the contents when you first walk in
We chose this place because it was market day and they had a table come free outside at just the right time! The waitress was very friendly and spoke good English. We chose the tapas selection and thought it was delicious and a good mix of hot and cold dishes. Loved the chickpea and ham casserole! The only bad mark is awarded to the toilet interesting experience.
