The lovely guy who looked after us was probably the most knowledgeable of the food history we have ever encountered, friendly charming. It’s a little out of the way but if you enjoy perfect food service it is definitely worth a visit.

Not sure they like tourists; we had the feeling that we were not equally 'serviced ' as the 'locals ' and even treated unfriendly with seating regarding covid measures. I discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago and wanted to go back; made reservations from Belgium for 2 diners in 1 week; When we asked after the first diner to confirm the second reservation they informed us of their holiday ; ie if I had not asked for it myself, they wouldn 't have bothered letting us know and we would have headed up there on a saturday evening to find the place closed ....
