Las Milpas is located east of central Tecate on the road to Mexicali. The menu is very extensive.Most orders will serve two people.The chimichangas are great as are the "burros"- giant burritos loaded with meat, potatoes and other goodies.The carne asada is the most tender I've ever had.This is where many of the locals go.The service is excellent. What User doesn't like about Las 4 Milpas:
I've been going here for over 10 years. Food was great and service was excellent. But since the place was sold a couple of years ago, both the quality and service has dropped drastically. Place was painted but now it all looks and feels dinghy. They tried doing buffet of weekends, at first it was good, but now most of yhe dishes are few and less then originally. Este restaurante ha sido nuestro lugar favorito para desayunar cada vez que visitamos Tecate. La atención es excelente y los desayunos son deliciosos. Sin duda, lo recomiendo.

Authentic Mexican food, good flour tortillas. I had Sopa Azteca, it was good .. Fresh ingredients and flavorful. My wife had carne asada quesadilla and it was delicious and pretty big. Good price. We are coming back for breakfast.
A little run down, but still one of our favorite places to eat in Tecate. Been coming here for over 20 years. Wish they were open for dinner, though.
