Horrible experience! We arrived at 4:45 PM, looking forward to grabbing some pizza for dinner. Unfortunately, the pizza looked like it had been left out all day. My son ordered a sub, but the meat and cheese were tough and dried out. The lettuce was so wilted that a staff member actually warned us not to take it. The bread was incredibly hard and crumbled apart. Overall, we were really disappointed with both the food and the service!
I cannot recommend this restaurant. It’s frequently understaffed and poorly managed. The food lacks freshness, and the service is very slow.
When filling up with diesel at pump 5, I noticed that the nozzle is broken and doesn’t shut off automatically. When I brought this issue to the attention of the attendant, she simply laughed as if it were no big deal. This attitude is highly unprofessional. I don’t plan to return to this location and will probably avoid all Casey’s in Sioux Falls from now on.
I feel like Casey's is run by someone who doesn't pay attention to details. Many of the gas pumps were broken, and every window washing station was either empty or covered in grime, looking more like sludge. One even had diesel in the cleaning fluid container. If you're planning to stop here, save yourself the hassle and head to the Get N Go across the street instead. Their pump handles are much cleaner, and the customer service is far better. By the way, the menu at Casey's leaves much to be desired as well.

I'm not sure what went wrong this time. I've been coming to this store for the past two years, and it's always been fantastic. However, during my visit today, I encountered empty gas pumps, empty window wash containers, and a lack of coffee cups. Something has changed, and unfortunately, it's not for the better.
I have a feeling this place is managed by a pinecone. Several of the pumps are out of order, and every window washing station is either empty or so grimy it resembles stagnant water. One station even had diesel in the container. Do yourself a favor and go to the gas station down the street; the pump handles there are much cleaner, and the customer service is leagues better.
It seems this location has a new manager along with some new staff members. Unfortunately, I have to say that the customer service has taken a noticeable downturn. On several occasions, I've seen customers ask simple questions only to be met with an indifferent response or outright dismissal. There was even a gentleman who inquired if the compressed air was operational, and the employee admitted they didn't even know what it was. I suspect the compressor was simply turned off, and they couldn't be bothered to check. When I asked if there might be a drink in the back since nothing was available up front, I received the same lack of effort with a "I don't know" or "I don't think so." In the past, or with different staff, someone would have taken the initiative to check. All these negative experiences have involved the same manager, so perhaps the owner could provide some training or guidelines for interacting with customers. It's really disappointing, and as a result, I will be taking my business to a different gas station.
We're happy to have found a Casey General Store nearby to enjoy their famous pizza, though we were tempted by the Pizza Ranch across the street. In the end, we picked Casey's and were glad to see they still use the quality ingredients we love. However, the service at this location left something to be desired, likely because it was very busy. Our pizza arrived slightly undercooked—not quite the crispy, fresh texture we usually expect. I usually avoid pre-baked pizzas for this reason, as they often turn soggy after sitting. Despite this, Casey's still serves great pizza, and now that I'm just five minutes away, I don’t mind warming it up in the toaster oven when I get home.
I was just $1.07 short, which felt like a lot. It was my first time at this Casey’s, and I didn’t know anyone working there. The cashier, Beth, surprised me by saying, “Don’t worry about it, I’ll cover it for you.” I’m truly amazed by her kindness. I’m still in shock at how generous she was. Thank you so much!
