The steak was cooked perfectly to a medium rare, which is hard to find in New Zealand, and it was very tender. My partner ordered a salad, which was a generous portion and quite tasty. While you might not choose this spot to impress someone on a date, it's definitely a great place to stop by for a bite and a pint – you could certainly do much worse.

My wife and I can’t even finish the $20 half pizza between us! We eagerly anticipate their wild food challenge every year. It’s a great spot for a casual meal or to relax outside with a drink while people-watching.

We ordered several dishes, including the pork belly with portobello mushrooms on ciabatta, fish and chips, chowder, Wonder Woman pizza, and a kids' meal. Everything was delightful! The pizza had a wonderful smoky flavor, and the pork belly had just the right amount of crispiness. Five stars, absolutely!
