The first notable thing that I'd like to mention in this resto is how everyone is so warm in welcoming guests. Everyone is polite, attentive and have a contagiously good aura. Everything that we ordered tasted good and are priced reasonably. I appreciate that they...are thoughtful enough to serve complimentary crisp sweet dilis and soup. Parking is ample at the back of the establishment. View all feedback.

You can spot the place along the main road just across a hospital and park at the back of the complex. Kapitbahay offers classic Filipino dishes with nice bright ambiance, friendly wait staff. We were surprised that they were able to accommodate our group of 12 people. They served us immediately with crisp sweetened dilis which everyone asked for more. Dishes:Crispy pata - Very Good - Crispy skin all over and the lean meat is flavorfulTilapia - Very good - Fried then wrapped in banana leaves and steamed to mix the flavor of the veggie condimentsKare Kare Beef - Poor - The sauce seemed like an instant Mama Sita sauce from the grocery. Meat was tender and just a little. Nilagang Manok sa Buho - This is dish is a typical chicken soup dish using young coconut juice for its broth. I tasted it but it seemed to be loaded with sugar and a bit of souring agent. Mango Salad - Good - FreshDrinks - skip the lemon grass iced teaPlace is clean including the loo. Diners are a mix of locals and perhaps those who traveled far to dine.Overall the place is worth coming back and recommending to friends.
This restaurant has been in operation for about three months now .We had such a good time during our first try 2 weeks ago (May 2) that we decided to pay them another visit to see if what we have experienced is a fluke or not.During our first try, we had:Nilagang Bulalo - tasty! no additional condiment neededKare-Kare - thick , yummy sauce (better than Marison's)Lumpiang Sariwa - okay and Fried Chicken for the kids. The fried chicken was a hit with the kids we had to order them again during our subsequent visit. On our 2nd try , we decided to order the following:Chopseuy - crisp veggies not overdoneFried Chicken (again)- although this time the portions are a lot smaller but the kids still gobbled them up.Seafood Paella in Crispy Sotanghon- tasty, fresh seafood , -though I wish they have more of the paella sauce in it. but over all its still good.Baby Back Ribs (Medium Size)-- the serving was big and it was good..though a bit on the sweet side for meLumpiang Sariwa - as good as our first tryCalamares- very tasty, not bland at allFor dessert, we tried the turon with ice cream . I find the turon too oily , I guess you better have your dessert somewhere else. They also offer a small bowl of crispy dilis for free which you can munch on while you wait for your order. The ambiance is relaxed casual dining. The price is reasonable . Ala carte orders are good for sharing. Service is fast and the staff is very attentive. I will definitely go back to this place. We have long been on the look out for a good local restaurant in the area aside from the more established ones like Crescent Moon and Vieux Chalet.Highly recommended for family/group meals.
I just wanted to treat my family with something new, not the usual fast food and chinese cuisine in the malls, not also buffet which make me gain weight - so i googled,..what about a a road trip then eat in Antipolo before going to PInto Art Museum? the idea was fine with my kids, after all I'm gonna treat them. Bingo, i found a decent resto, clean and good food. Kapitbahayan, however is just a small place although they have tables out of the aircon main dining hall. With the progress going on in Antipolo, i hope this resto plan their expansion. Enjoyed my birthday treat!

This was our third visit to the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the customer service was pleasant, and the waitstaff were accommodating.
