Mike and I pop into the Matua now and then and we are never disappointed, there is always something going on, good music, old friends to catch up with...

Great bar we can walk to with plenty of choice and friendly atmosphere. New owners are top draw

Last night, probably the last time Andy will be behind the bar, was absolutely fantastic, Tim Armstrong was doing the business, loved it.

Large small bar hidden in Matua. Friendly atmosphere and the barman pours a great handle, but watch the Tuatara Hazy pale ale, great drops but grabs a blow

This is a really cool bar where the locals are friendly and dont mind losing the odd game of pool. Food is well priced and very palatable. A nice place to chill...
