What Devaki Karandikar doesn't like about Talk Of India:
We were looking forward to a nice Indian dinner and ordered the butter chicken and hariyali chicken starter. I was expecting and looking forward to a sweet creamy butter chicken but instead we got a tomato sauce with some chicken in it. Hariyali chicken was tender but was not very flavourful and unnaturally green. When we spoke to the waitress about it, she mentioned they have used the same recipe for 30+ years. So i... Yesterday, a group of 28 of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner together. It was truly an exceptional evening! The restaurant not only offered fantastic food, but also had an incredible staff. We had a few last-minute changes, and they graciously accommodated all of them without any issues. As a lovely gesture, we were even given a complimentary bottle of port. I highly recommend this restaurant—great food and amazing staff!
This is a delightful restaurant with consistently excellent food and wonderful staff. You can always count on a delicious meal here!
Wow, I was truly impressed by the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The food was outstanding as well. If you find yourself in Tauranga and are a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Thank you, Talk of India—I absolutely loved it!
Amazing time had here there wasn't one thing that wasn't perfect from the best service we have ever had (thank you Usha) to the food what had the best flavours and the meat cooked to perfection, thank you and will be back soon.
Pradeep and his family run the best indian restaurant in NZ let alone Tauranga!! Best food, best service, best people.
