Dedicated fish and chip shop. Have eaten there several times and food is always excellent

I use to love coming to spudz and supporting local . There has been many times I have gone there thinking no I'll give them a chance but no. The fish smell off always over cooked saturated in oil the pack a disappointed and expensive definitely the portion and the quality i all so feel sick after eating my meals and don't want to waste my food. I don't want to a apologize but change listen to your local and customers and reviews.

The fish was ok. The amount of chips was pitiful. Two scoops? That would have fed one person the amount you gave us. This was meant to feed 5. What a joke! the burger meal was meant to come with chips but you included that meals chips in our scoops. Which was tiny! Ridiculous! Will never ever come back. Extremely disappointed for the ridiculous price we paid. We will never be back. edit due to managers reply- the “5 people” were three kids and two adults. One of those children was meant to have chips included in her meal so TECHNICALLY 2 scoops for four people (again only 2 adults) should have been more then enough, but it was far far from that.

NOT SAFE FOR CELIAC Very yummy fish but sadly not safe for celiac... Even with the separate fryer i was awfully sick and it took me weeks to recover. It was okay for the first 5 times of eating there but will never again after being glutented.

This place used to be my fav place, but I will never forget the raw fish. I called them after we thought the fish was raw, I was advised that it was bass fish and that it was very jucy. I swear it was raw, maybe it was cooked, but regardless it was gross! When I spoke to them it was like they had had this conversation multiple times might be a good time to stop selling bass/raw fish.
