The delicious homemade baked goods and generous breakfasts, including eggs Benedict, are sure to please everyone. The coffee is excellent as well. I always enjoy stopping here. They serve timeless classics, such as mince on toast accompanied by crisp watercress, and their cheesecake is made fresh on-site. The café has a delightful mix of European and Māori staff, as well as a diverse clientele. It's a great sign that the locals frequent this place, which is always a good indication of genuine Kai (food).

While the decor is a little tragic and the menu is fairly basic the food was delicious and cheap, the cafe spotless, the staff attentive and helpful and the coffee surprisingly good. I highly recommend the Bushmans burger
