My family went to this place because it was rated so highly. Unfortunately, our expectations were lowered. The rice pilav was just white rice! The French fries were over cooked! The outside of the place looks unwelcoming! They were out of pita which is unfortunate because it is one of the most common ingredients in Turkish cuisine. The family never been to Turkish or Mediterranean style restaurant before. Took a chance and surprising very good. We weren't sure what to order and owner was very polite and asked what we liked. Okay hummus, but really good lamb liver (appetizer) and the mixed grill was the best thing we had. Meat was tender, juicy, marinated well and the rice underneath was seasoned by the meat so well. Would go again for the meat! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
