This place is AUTHENTIC. I'm Korean and I live in Los Angeles. I know Korean food. And this place is delicious. Great, true Korean taste. Your Kimchi stew was a revelation. When I was there, all the other people were Koreans. True Korean food in Uzbekistan! Who knew?

Han River: REAL Korean food! It is an interesting, obscure fact that during the Korean war North Korean refugees who were made to the USSR were transferred to Tashkent and many of them were never returned. They have contributed a lot to the culture of the city, not least with their food. This special restaurant is hard to find (it is behind Sal on Mirabad St., and if you enter, it is not even so obvious that there is a restaurant (in a converted office room or something... but the food is excellent. I have eaten Korean food in many places, including South Korea naturally and this place is as authentic as it could be. If you have never had Korean food, it may be hard to navigate the menu.... there are English translations, but Korean food is a world for itself, so it would still be hard to say what you get.

Delicious. Good serve size. Good prices. This is not a fancy place by no means, but a good one to grab a tasty bite.
