Bread, water and a bottle of very nice local wine included.... read more We had an excellent 16 euro 'menu del dia ' here. This comprised starter, main and desert or coffee. Bread, water and a bottle of very nice local wine included. The food was light, fresh and appropriately summery in taste. The modernista wood panelling and stained glass gave the room a pleasing, relaxing atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

The menu was great , lots of choices so it was hard to choose as everything sounded great. The starter of white asparagus with pepper and pickle topped with caviar amazing, the orange, strawberry and cheese salad a riot of color and flavor and so fresh tasting, visually stunning too. Main course of lamb terrine was cooked perfectly and so very good as were the fish meatballs served with peas in "Alexandrina "sauce, portions were just right , not too small and all very tasty and delcious. Dessert followed tiramisu and the cheesecake both were scrumptious, yummy and a perfect end to a wonderful meal, most satisfying and so very well priced. Service was excellent, faultless and would recommend a visit if in town, you won 't be disappointed. The room was lovely, quaint and loved the windows, very restful. Total including extra wine and water was €38.70 excluding tip for a job well done and a delightful meal.

Tried to visit but seemed closed persevered and went back for lunch and had set menu which was amazing so interesting and presentation amazing. €16 per person. Lovely lady who was so helpful and friendly with good English. The menu is small and changed regularly. We then went back on the last night of our trip and chose from the a la carte menu which again was amazing. We loved all the food and it was great to have the little tasters in between. There is no outside area and the door is closed as the air con is on, so try the door! Also the surroundings are Art Deco and very interesting.
