Had the most wonderful lunch menu at Sadoll on my first day in Tarragona, also it was exceptional value at € 16.50 per person with water and second glass of win... read more Had the most wonderful lunch menu at Sadoll on my first day in Tarragona, also it was exceptional value at € 16.50 per person with water and second glass of wine extra. The menu was great , lots of choices so it was hard to choose as everything sounded great. The starter of white asparagus with pepper and pickle topped with caviar amazing, the orange, strawberry and cheese salad a riot of color and flavor and so fresh tasting, visually stunning too. Main course of lamb terrine was cooked perfectly and so very good as were the fish meatballs served with peas in "Alexandrina "sauce, portions were just right , not too small and all very tasty and delcious. Dessert followed tiramisu and the cheesecake both were scrumptious, yummy and a perfect end to a wonderful meal, most satisfying and so very well priced. Service was excellent, faultless and would recommend a visit if in town, you won 't be disappointed. The room was lovely, quaint and loved the windows, very restful. Total including extra wine and water was €38.70 excluding tip for a job well done and a delightful meal.

Bread, water and a bottle of very nice local wine included. The food was light, fresh and appropriately summery in taste. The modernista wood panelling and stained glass gave the room a pleasing, relaxing atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
