Generally our experience was fine, including attentive service and the ability to change... read more We were a group of three adults and two children having dinner 23 June. Generally our experience was fine, including attentive service and the ability to change table in the beginning. However, some of the dishes were not up to the standard expected, and the noise from the kitchen compromised our experience. We had dishes such as beef burger, Angus beef burger and tuna tartare. The burgers were quite good, while the tuna tartare had an overwhelming truffle sauce flavour, which does not normally go with tuna tartare. The Lomo Argentino was requested as 'a punto ' (medium rare), but came served very rare. As we were seated near the bar to see the TV screen, we endured 10-15 minutes of significant noise from the kitchen, when the chef was 'hammering ' milanesa steaks for a large table. I believe it would be possible for the chef to do this in a less disruptive way. A few small improvements, and the experience at Banti would be very good.

Smoking a meter away from me. I felt ashamed of others. The very bad coffee and toasts to forget. The decoration and location very good.

The big garden and lovely decor makes the place very special. We`lll no doubt be back!
