There isn't much signage on the main road, but if you have the opportunity to stay in the cottages, they are stunning. We stayed in the Mawson cottage, which was incredibly spacious with two queen size beds, its own bathroom, and a seating area. The room is tastefully decorated and we especially enjoyed the Mawson windows. The kids had a great time at the lake. The women who manage the business are very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely return and stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The atmosphere is lovely and quaint indoors, but the most important highlight is the food! We enjoyed a fantastic homemade pie that was incredibly flavorful.

Seriously top restaurant quality and presentation for a very reasonable price.Called in and they weren't even open for food service, but the lovely lady owner insisted that "as you're already here, we'll get you something" then proceeded to offer us virtually the full menu. Very much appreciated. Also had a great hot chocolate and cappucino.
