Menu

Here you will find the menu of Taos Java in Taos. At present there are 26 meals and beverages in the menu.

A cozy Taos coffeehouse praised for warm, friendly service, generous breakfast burritos and tempting pastries, with a convenient drive-thru and early hours that make it a favorite for locals, skiers and visitors. Clean, welcoming decor and helpful staff (even assisting with security-camera footage) add to the charm. However, guests report inconsistent coffee quality—burnt or oversteamed lattes—and some microwave-prepared items and premade smoothies, so expectations for barista polish and freshness can vary.

This place offers excellent, robust coffee and a fantastic variety of teas. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. To avoid the credit card fee on orders under $10, it's best to pay with cash or purchase a gift card. It's also worth noting that this is the only coffee drive-thru in town, aside from fast food options. View all feedback.

What Tyler Bussey dislikes about Taos Java:
Friendly service but the latte quality was pretty low. The milk was oversteamed and bubbly, not resembling anything like a latte. Didn't taste like one either. The folks working didn't know how to do latte art either. I find that surprising. Owners should have to teach these skills. View all feedback.

I only ordered a Café au Lait here and didn't try any food, but I did notice they offered vegan options. The coffee was excellent, and they prepared it just as I requested, using non-dairy milk. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind; they even provided fresh water and two complimentary dog biscuits for my furry friend. The atmosphere, both indoors and on the patio, was relaxed and pleasant. The prices are reasonable for a tourist-driven city and comparable to Starbucks.

Charming little coffee shop with wonderful food and excellent service. The breakfast burrito was massive and incredibly tasty. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be my go-to coffee spot.

This is a really charming coffee shop! Their breakfast burrito and green chile quiche are fantastic. We tried an iced coffee, a smoothie, and a latte too. We will definitely return!
