Coffee Cats - Taos

Delicious hot chocolate, friendly owner, relaxed atmosphere. A beautiful place to interrupt and drink while exploring Taos. The hot cocoa is even better if you want to add cinnamon. The new name (since December 2018) is Cicis.

No more Coffee Cats! The new owners/coffee/menu/service are particularly extraordinary in every city, but for Taos they are the best cup of coffee in the city, with the exception of the equally great Apothecary. The interior of this scenic shop is beautiful, but also comfortable to spend a little time chatting about your expertly made drink. The owners are fantastic members of our local community and have given us something very special for locals and tourists alike.

My husband and I like to go to this little coffee shop and then visit the bookstore right around the corner. It makes a great little Saturday trip for us! I also appreciate the variety in the menu. I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I like to get the tasteful ice tea tubs. My husband likes her latte. Every coffee drink has a feline name that is also funny!

Very unique small coffee shop in the heart of Taos. Friendly and professional staff, one of my first stations when I visit. My only problem is that they stopped removing the stones in coffee! That was the best, please consider bringing this back.

This place was great! Peppermint mocha latte w/ almond milk was soooo good! Huge selection of drinks. Girls were super nice too. Wish we had one of these back home.. definitely try this place if you’re in Taos!
