After just arriving in the Barossa from Sydney we wanted a quick and tasty lunch so we ordered their hamburger. It had a homemade patty full of herbs and spices, not just your boring old meat, and served on unusual bread with fabulous fries. Very, very tasty indeed. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Terrace Restaurant:
this was the only let down to our whole Barossa Visit. Food was not fresh some of it was not even hot. The wait staff seem to have to prepare half of the dishes at the front counter. Even the coffee was overextracted and burnt. what a let down as they have a great position in TANUNDA. wine list is also more than dissappointing View all feedback.
The Culinary Chicks love this restaurant. The food is delightful and ambiance relaxed and so enjoyable. Management and staff are fabulous! But don't take our word for it ...drop in and try for yourself! Tell them the Chicks sent you :
Last night was our second time there and this time we took our friends with us. They were very impressed with the food too. We had a lovely evening we hope we weren’t too noisy laughing! Thanks Nick and staff for beautiful food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will be back .
Early Mothers Day lunch in the sun on the deck with daughter and son-inlaw. Great food and service. Will be back.
Great breakfast and awesome service. Thanks, we'll be back
Wine Tours to the Barossa is a fantastic spot for both lunch and dinner. The menu offers quality dishes at a good value. I find myself visiting The Terrace 2 to 3 times a week for lunch, and every guest I bring along has left 100% satisfied. The restaurant's location across from the information centre is convenient, with parking available on the side street. The restaurant is air conditioned and offers a great wine selection. My personal favorite dish is the Squid, as shown in the picture. I recommend supporting local businesses when you visit, and suggest trying the Langmeil Red or Fox wine, both of which I loved. Let Nick, the owner, assist you in choosing a wine to pair with your meal. Enjoy the opportunity to stroll down the main street of Tanunda for some souvenir shopping or to soak in the atmosphere.
