After we finally convinced the 4 guards in the Gatehouse, we did not intend to take the place or worse we found that we were going down a rough, unfinished road... read more After we finally convinced the 4 guards in the Gatehouse, we did not intend to take the place or worse we found that we were going down a rough, unfinished road that is not unknown in this part of the world, except that is supposed to be a premium high-end resort that has been traded for 11 years! The service in the restaurant was attentive, with portions too large and the food was less than satisfactorily unprepared and expensive for what it was, cooked with both the tuna bell, Maya Maya and Gambas frozen and not fresh this is certainly not what I expect for the prices. Alcoholic beverages have been overpriced and as someone who stays in a real 5* resort for the last 2 weeks, I know what I expect from the terms of restaurant standards and what to pay. No green mangoes or coconuts for smoothies on an island where they grow in abundance, simply is not acceptable in a place like this. My advice for those seeking peace and a high-end restaurant experience, stay at the Belle Vue or South Palms Resorts and in my experience, you will not be disappointed.

Prices are incredibly much better than most restaurants in Bohol. Make sure you arrange for a reservation because... security is tight, given the profile of the resort.
