For ten years I have b... read more I saw the reviews before, but I thought I want to try it. I am not judging by reviews, but in this case, I must say the reviews are true. For ten years I have been in Japan, I love to eat at a restaurants, but it’s the first time I have given a bad review. The customer service was not existent. We felt not welcomed at all, which is very sad. We came a long way to visit hongu, and were happy when we found this cafe. I understand if the owner made maybe bad experience in the past with guests, but I feel it’s time to stop a restaurant if you can’t welcome new guests with a friendly attitude and smile. The food it’s not worth the money. I like to spend money on food, if the food is good. The food was not delicious, and we paid almost 30,00€ for it. Although I have to say the guy who came out at the end, said thank you and were friendly. Not the woman. I hope you can offer better customer service and food in the future, I am sure more people will come and like it.
