The Hummingbird Jerk House - Tampa

Would've uploaded a picture but didn't think about it until after my food was gone! Had oxtail with white rice plantain and cabbage. Spice was perfect and enjoyable. Would highly recommend since not all Jamaican food is created equally. I will dine again!!

Everything about The Hummingbird Jerk House was fantastic. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken with peas, rice, and cabbage. It was served hot with the meat falling off the bone and the sides cooked to perfection. Also, I ordered a beef patty that was so good that I ordered another. The restaurant was very clean, and the jamacian music playing is a vibe. Customer service is exceptional. Highly Recommended!

This is a classy and elegant spot very nice clean i mean the ambiance is just right pleasant workers.i loved the fact that the chef/owner took the time out to meet and greet the customer the FOOD WAS MAGNIFICENT the patty oxtail and jerk chicken stood out everything was greatVegetarian options: They have vegan plates available

So I come in and they have board of about 20 items on a Friday around 5. They tell me they only have 5 items now. I order the Jetk Chicken and the Chicken Curry.The Jerk Chicken was so dry that I was gagging eating it! I seriously thought I was going to the hospital.The chicken curry was chopped bones. This was my first time coming here since I was in the area. I ordered the j chicken with rice/peas and veggies. It was delicious with good portions. Patrick was super friendly and would highly recommend!
