Samaria Cafe - Tampa
Samaria Cafe
Description
A recent visit to a Tampa cafe resulted in a mixed bag of experiences. One family faced abysmal service, with long wait times and unprofessional behavior from the manager. The forced 18% gratuity left a sour taste in their mouths, prompting a scathing review. On the other hand, other diners found the cafe to be a charming spot with good food overall. While some dishes were bland or had minor issues, others raved about the Reuben sandwich and large portions. Great service, fresh bakery items, and efficient operations during busy times were highlighted as positives. The variety of menu options and fair pricing were also noted by happy customers. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a range of experiences, with some facing disappointments while others found it to be a delightful breakfast spot in downtown Tampa.

Great place for breakfast. We both had the Italian omelette. It was massive. Our server was really running since it was busy, but didn't ever go more than a few minutes without checking on us. Great service.
My friends and I went on a busy day (Gasparilla) and even with all that, the service was excellent. The hostess told us it was a 30 minute wait and it was exactly that so definite loved the efficiency. Waitress was super nice and friendly. The restaurant was busy but still we got our food in a timely manner as well as our coffee. It was amazing. Overall loved the food and love the service. The price for the food is also fair. Definitely recommend.
Had an amazing brunch there this morning! I love that you can order breakfast or lunch all day. I had lunch at 9 am : Try the vegetable panini. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The server was amazing, too! We will back next time we are in town!
Great coffee, great waffles. Eggs and bacon are just okay. Chicken tenders were not very good. Would like to try other stuff on the menu but a decent breakfast spot for a quick bite.
Great expectation, great disappointment, it was supposed to be THE American BREAKFAST after 5 long years. These are 3 $10 pancakes with cream? At first sight they don't deserve it, the base seemed almost fried in oil. Friendly service, good coffee served in a carafe that you can use freely.
