Pane Rustica - Tampa

Annie is the absolute best! She recommended the ribeye, ahi tuna and the kale of each dish was fantastic!

Creative menu, tasty eating, friendly and efficient server, atmosphere is so dark that they can't see eating before them. when we asked our cheerful server if the lighter could appear, she asked the owner in our order. the answer was no, she wants a demanding atmosphere. ironically like a world traveler and diner, we have gedimt in many beautiful restaurants. a part of the joy of eating is to appreciate the colour and presentation on the teller. Unfortunately this was not possible in the dark. we will not return to this restaurant, which is a scandal.

The featured drink and appetizers we had were delicious. Our main meal was not what we had envisioned and it ended up being very spicy and kind of a letdown. Dessert was great and server was understanding and manager removed dessert off bill, which was very kind. My main disappointment was ambiance. We were seated in back of restaurant and I do not mind an open kitchen concept, however it appeared extra tables had been added to accommodate food prep and takeout orders. For a date night, I wouldn't consider it for this reason.

Really great experience overall. Came on a recommendation from a friend and the food, bread, pastries were great! We had Annie as our server and she was wonderful, best service I’ve had in years!

Always a delicious meal and a good choice. service is always excellent. pane rustica is one of our favourites.
