Called in for a lunch snack on a busy Sunday, but we were warmly welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. Soups were tasty and good portions. Took away carrot cakes and pork pies from the farm shop and really enjoyed them after the long drive homeThank you View all feedback.

I visited Lyme Field for the first breakfast sitting on Father's Day. The staff greeted us with smiles at the door, and Gemma directed us to Yvonne, who showed us to our table. The service made us feel like VIPs. The waitresses took our order and Rebecca served us. She may be new, but she did an excellent job, especially with the food. There isn't anything to dislike about Lyme Field. When I made the reservation, I was told they would need the table back after 1.5 hours, but we found it hard to leave because of the relaxing atmosphere. The staff didn't rush us, and we eventually said our goodbyes. It was my brother's first visit, and he enjoyed it. After exploring the farm shop and garden center, we reluctantly headed home. Lyme Field consistently delivers outstanding service and is a leader in the hospitality industry. They are truly the best in the business, and I commend them for their hard work.
I visited this garden center for the first time and was impressed with their selection. I couldn't resist purchasing some steaks and sausages from the butcher shop - they were of excellent quality and I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed!
Well where to start, when breakfast arrived well what a let down. Bacon was dried out obviously been sitting for a while, edges of black pudding and hash browns dried and hard, tomato burnt round edges, mushroom not very nice, beans ok, sausage was probably best bit , egg ok. One slice toast cut into two, with only one small butter pat not enough for both slices, The cost of small breakfast was 9.45 yet if you paid 10.95 you could have doubled up . To be honest im glad i didnt, also they put toast on main plate too so it looks more on plate than actually is . I was with my hubby, daughter and 9 yr old grandson so i didnt complain just ate what i could. I think by amount left on plate they had an idea my hubby also left quite a lot. Shame i couldnt give a more positive review but i believe in honesty.
We called in at. Lymefield Garden Centre at Broadbottom. For a cake and drinks. We had to que to get a table for about 15 minutes, which was not a problem. The team was extremely busy. We had not been before, so I asked a member of the team if we ordered at the counter. She said it was table service. We ordered Drinks Scone jam and cream.two cakes for mlour daughter I ordered a soup and a turkey sandwich. I was asked if I would like whit or brown bread? I replied brown. The drinks came followed shortly after by the cakes. I was waiting so long for the soup and sandwich I asked.I was informed they had forgotten, and it would be with me shortly when it arrived. The brown bread was white, but the food was amazingly good. When I went to pay, I mentioned it, and I did not pay for the drinks. I felt the team was under so much pressure, and it was not good. Food excellent service was iffy, hence the 3 stars. Dickie
