Despite this, the restaurant is praised for its warm welcome and excellent pies. I recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Lodge. The portions were generous and served promptly and hot. I highly recommend it. Our group of 11 all ordered different meals and everyone agreed that the food and service were fantastic. The staff were helpful and very friendly.
The lodge was a great spot to hang out with friends, enjoy some drinks, and have some delicious food. I would definitely return.
I visited the restaurant with my husband and grandson for tea. I was disappointed to find out that they still do not have a card machine. Despite this, the food was good and we all enjoyed our meal. However, I was put off by the fact that the barstaff and landlady were eating and drinking while serving customers. This has made me hesitant to return anytime soon.
I would not recommend dining at this restaurant. I was disappointed. The price per person ranges from £1 to £10. The food only received a rating of 1, while the service and atmosphere were both rated a 3.
