I recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Lodge. The portions were generous and served promptly and hot. I highly recommend it. Our group of 11 all ordered different meals and everyone agreed that the food and service were fantastic. The staff were helpful and very friendly.
Visited for the first time today, was just looking to somewhere local for lunch and previous reviews said the pie was good. We received a warm welcome and great service, the food was very good but the pie was excellent, as good as anywhere you'll find in Tameside. We will definitely be back again, apparently the Lasagne is excellent too!
Visited today for Sunday lunch expecting typical pub food, how wrong we were, the meal was superb, all fresh, not a frozen veg in sight, lovely roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and succulent gravy, only complaint was the roast potatoes, could have eaten twice as many they were so nice. Will definitely be returning very soon
I would not recommend dining at this restaurant. I was disappointed. The price per person ranges from £1 to £10. The food only received a rating of 1, while the service and atmosphere were both rated a 3.
