I had intended to make a purchase, but found that the displays were much better a few years ago. The bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms were organized at that time, but now they are a jumbled mess.

The furniture is modern, bright, and looks good.

I know school holidays are not the best times to visit IKEA restraunts, it was very busy but the staff are exceptionally slow, there was a queue at both serving... read more I know school holidays are not the best times to visit IKEA restraunts, it was very busy but the staff are exceptionally slow, there was a queue at both serving points both moving very slowly, it needed an extra member of staff at each position. Unfortunately this might have made things worse at the checkout, there was large queues at both tills, there is four tills but only two were working, then they closed one of the tills. When coming into the restaurant all the soft seating in the booths had been slashed, giving a great impression of the cafe/restraunt and a furniture store. We gave up on the restaurant after a long wait, did our shopping thinking we could get something from the bistro, here we found one member of staff who couldn’t work any slower, is there nobody in charge at Ashton, gave up on the bistro too, will not be visiting again especially during school holidays as I wouldn’t like to disturb the staff.
