Description

At this restaurant, the charm of the past seems to have faded, as patrons express disappointment in the disorganized showroom displays that no longer reflect their former glory. While the café offers delectable food, long queues and insufficient staff hinder the experience, leaving diners feeling rushed. Menu changes happen too quickly for customers to keep up, often leading to sold-out options and frustration over unhelpful service. Despite these shortcomings, the allure of signature dishes, like the beloved meatballs, continues to draw some visitors back, creating a conflicting atmosphere of nostalgia and dissatisfaction.

I visited the cafe today and enjoyed the good food. However, there was a very long queue to order. They need to have more staff serving customers. The furniture is modern, bright, and looks good.

I know school holidays are not the best times to visit IKEA restraunts, it was very busy but the staff are exceptionally slow, there was a queue at both serving points both moving very slowly, it needed an extra member of staff at each position. Unfortunately this might have made things worse at the checkout, there was large queues at both tills, there is four tills but only two were working, then they closed one of the tills. When coming into the restaurant all the soft seating in the booths had been slashed, giving a great impression of the cafe/restraunt and a furniture store. We gave up on the restaurant after a long wait, did our shopping thinking we could get something from the bistro, here we found one member of staff who couldn’t work any slower, is there nobody in charge at Ashton, gave up on the bistro too, will not be visiting again especially during school holidays as I wouldn’t like to disturb the staff.

Back at IKEA today for another round of those irresistible meatballs! Can't get enough of them, they're simply the best! #IKEAMeatballs #FoodLovers #DeliciousTreats

As a client and ikea family member for more than 15 years I bought a product placed in the wrong isle and unfortunately it wasn’t the item I was meant to buy and as I went to refund the item they said that wasn’t possible as I had already opened it. The most unhelpful customer service experience in my life and the person who attended us was named Deacon(customer service manager), he wasn’t professional and he wasn’t polite and also very rude. Be aware that when you buy anything from ikea, any item that is open won’t be accepted for a refund. The managers attitude is absolutely disgusting and I will never shop there again
