They are truly delight... read more One of my favorite dishes to order at this restaurant is the crispy shredded beef in chili sauce, along with the chili and garlic dishes. They are truly delightful. I have sampled all the Chinese takeout options in Tameside, and the meals at Golden Coast are by far the best I've ever experienced. I highly recommend them!

When we visited to place our order for fried rice, we reminded them of my allergy. However, when we got home, my husband thankfully checked the containers and found that one of them had prawns in it. This could have been very dangerous for me, so we had to throw it away immediately. We won't be ordering from there again, as it was just sheer luck that I didn't come into contact with it.

The fish is actually inedible; it has a slimy texture and a bad smell. The peas also have an unpleasant odor. The chop suey roll arrived cold, and the chips were old, chewy, and also cold. Everything was just wrong, and we obviously left it uneaten. I had to wait a long time for this poor quality food, and although I'm tempted to take it back, I really don’t want to deal with an argument. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place. There are much better chip shops in Ashton, Stalybridge, and beyond. Trust me, find somewhere else to eat—this is going straight in the bin!

The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious, with something different to try every day. It was simply great! I highly recommend it.
