We were looking for a restaurant to take our daughter and her young children to, to celebrate her birthday.We arrived early and whilst wandering round the grounds were reprimanded for crossing a bridge to a deck. Although the gate was unlocked and no sign saying do not enter.The seating was at "Bunnings plastic chairs and tables", quite uncomfortable, and we were advised the chef had called in sick, so the choice would be pizza or pasta.The pizzas were very good, and the bowl of chips costing $8/10 crispy but i think dear.Nice place to visit, dont think we would rush back.
We had two meals here and cannot fault anything. The pizzas are the best we have every had, absolutely delicious. We made the mistake of ordering one each [one size only] and as I couldn’t finish mine,the staff were happy to pack it up and we took it back to our cottage to have the next day. The pasta the next day was also very delicious and enjoyable. There is a menu for light meals, they serve afternoon tea, scrumptious scones, and the evening meals offer pizza, pasta and specialty dishes. The alcoholic drinks are well priced with good choices of wines. Bookings are advisable as they get very busy. Staff were very attentive and meals came out promptly. A great venue. NB: The restaurant is open Wed-Sun only, closed Mon and Tues.
