Contribute FeedbackFloodwater is a popular spot for tasty food and a fun atmosphere. While some menu items received mixed reviews, such as the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, the Reuben and Margherita pizza were standout options. The service can be hit or miss, as some customers experienced long wait times for food and drinks. However, the restaurant offers a great selection of vegan options and excellent sports bar ambiance, making it a top choice for watching games. Overall, Floodwater is worth a visit for its varied menu, friendly service, and enjoyable dining experience.
Came here causing the first post of pizza with beyond meat and miyoko cheese. well, that was only for a short time in the menu. the one we ordered was good, but for the other. the waiting staff put our party from 4 on the huge table near the door inside. we had a lot of space to spread in our group and have social distance. we share the pizza and vegetarian cassoulet. the cassoulet had smokey mushrooms, a very smokey taste. there were 1 vegan dessert on the menu, but we were full.
Excellent eating. many vegan options (clearly marked ve.) several options are characterized by cbve (can be vegan.) friendly helpful waiting staff familiar with vegans request. we had the beans-dip, Brussels sprouts, homemade veggie burger and pizza with miyokos cheese. everything was delicious.
Don't get the fettuccine. No cheese, bland sauce, and weird parts of bacon for some reason added in. But everything else is good...I think.. if you ask me to talk to a manager I won't, it's so embarrassing to go to a nice restaurant with my date and then complain to a Manger and make it a big deal, as a high end restaurant it's your responsibility to ensure everything is to satisfaction. No?
Indulge in Marin's top sports bar experience at this amazing establishment! With TV screens strategically positioned for the best viewing experience, including outdoor seating, you will never miss a moment of the excitement. The menu boasts a wide range of delicious options that are sure to satisfy every craving. When I visited for lunch recently, I was impressed by the exceptional quality of the food. I am already looking forward to returning for future sports games or casual gatherings with friends to savor more of their tasty dishes and refreshing drinks. Personally, I highly recommend trying their mouthwatering pizza with spicy sausage, as well as the delightful warm winter salad with chicken.
I really enjoy Floodwater, but I am giving it one star just to caution against ordering the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. My go-to choice is usually the Reuben, which I believe is the best in Marin since Max's closed in Corte Madera. However, last night I decided to try something new and opted for their fried chicken sandwich. This sandwich was unlike any crispy fried chicken I had expected, as it was pan-fried in chili powder and topped with bread and butter pickles, adding a sweet element to the flavor. Despite this, I will continue to come back for the Reuben, Margherita pizza with extra cheese, and Wagyu Cheese Burgers, all of which I would rate at least four stars. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish this new item on the menu.
