Wabadus - Tallinn

A place of real culinary delight, Wabadus is a spacious café and restaurant near one of the busiest places in Tallinn. In a stunning and colourful interior, right on Freedom Square, Wabadus offers delicious culinary experiences, with a menu that emphasizes food in an innovative way. My friend and I stopped for dinner in an early evening and we were so happy with our choice. It was a satisfying meal, with delicious food, excellent service and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. I loved the selection of photos on the walls, as well as wooden elements of the floor and furniture. The terrace is also beautiful and offers a modern open-air dining experience in one of the best parts of Tallinn. I started with the beef tar with tomato sauce, Caper Mayo, bread and egg yolk, which was nicely plated and made for perfection. My friend loved his garlic fried shrimps with saffron aioli, chili and grilled avocado. Next I have eaten in aged beef with pepper sauce, whiskey carrot and grilled vegetables, which was a perfectly boiled. The plate of the Beetroot Risotto of my friend with dust from black goat cheese, smoked beet root, spinach and bread crust was as delicious as it was beautiful. For dessert, we flew in refreshing Rhabarb jam with elderberry, almond and white chocolate. Then pampered in a cream brulee with mint, orange, strawberry and fennel. This was the best end to a fantastic dinner, I recommend Wabadus, and cannot wait to return.

Classic, but not expensive place right at the Freedom Square. A great place to arrange meetings or play board games. Breakfast is served until 11.45. A favourite among locals and visitors

I liked it. The staff is very smart (between themselves), but they didn't throw me out after I finished my coffee and had to wait for a friend. Great view, of course!
