Nomad Resto - Tallinn

The restaurant is nice, and the staff are friendly. I ordered a salad with chicken, but unfortunately, the salad was old and the chicken seemed to have been cooked in the microwave - it was frozen inside and hot outside. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

To begin with, I want to make it clear that I am not criticizing the service provided by the staff. The issues I encountered at this restaurant are not their fault. However, there are significant problems with the food offerings. We had pre-ordered for our group, with a Caesar salad as the starter. The vegetarian option was the same as the regular salad, but without the chicken. There was no substitute protein provided. As for the main course, the menu listed a pork steak with mashed potatoes. Vegetarians were given mashed potatoes with a salad, but again, there was no protein included. The steak was replaced with a few salad leaves and a couple of cherry tomatoes. The food lacked flavor, except for a fishy taste in the vegetarian salad and a predominant dill flavor in the main dish. I would give this restaurant zero stars if it weren't for the pleasant waiter we had. I strongly advise vegetarians to avoid dining here, and I would do the same if I had food allergies.

We had chilli.ee offer where You can choose between 2 different three cources menus. We had both, one for me another for my love. Excellent service, they gave us extra plates, that both we can enjoy both menus. Wine was super. Duck fillet, perfectly done!! Strongly recommend this place!

What a joke! This place is not a restaurant. Warm atmosphere and service? I should have missed the time when it was like this. We booked in advance (days! for a small group. They were unaware when we came in. Service was slow, missing food in their pantry, and missing ingredients in the plate. It took one hour to prepare 10 plates … They are definitively better alternative places few steps around …

Called to book, no answer, a guy called back after some time hello, Im Sven, you called . I replied that I called Nomad Resto, he said he had transferred the restaurant phone to his mobile and asked me to call back in 10 minutes after he transfers back. I called again after 10 min, again no answer... We decided to just show up, Covid times after all, how full can it be. We were right, it was quite empty. Considering the lack of customers, some effort could be put into picking up the reservations, maybe? : Table could have needed a wipe, with a steak there could be a steak knife... Food was ok, not bad, not excellent. Bao and Ramen were good. Hamburger patty was severely under seasoned no salt at all. Steak description is different in Estonian and English. Estonian menu promised oven carrot with a steak, English menu a musroom : On my plate there was none of them. I pointed it out to the waitress as well who promised to take it forward to the chef. The waitress was kind and nice. All in all, it was ok but probably we won`t be going back. The booking experience was quite bad. I just don`t have time to chase the restaurant the whole day.
