Sonny's Bbq - Tallahassee

The meat portions at this restaurant are delicious but a bit on the lighter side for a meat eater like myself. I ended up ordering wings, which were cooked to perfection by the talented pit master. The sauces were also great. The server was friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the option to sit at the bar since I was dining solo. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would definitely eat here again.

My mother and I visit this restaurant every month for lunch. We have not had a negative experience in over a year. The food is always hot and delicious, and we enjoy spending the afternoon there before I head to work. The sweet tea is particularly good. Overall, it is a great place for a meal.

Tabitha was our waiter! she had some great suggestions and a great job. I had eaten before I came here, friends thought I wouldn't eat much. the menu had so many delicious search options it was hard to order nothing. I ordered the loaded tickets for the table and eat most of them! the picks were so good, the cheese was very subtle and there were many fried wobbles on the head. I added two of the three bbq sauces that were on the table sweet and sizzlin, both were delicious.

Usually pretty good. Attention owner or manager. Is it your policy to have wait staff feed and keep feral cats on the outside eating area (in front of the restaurant)? The outside eating area is inhabited by 2 cats which are being fed by a wait person. This has been going on for several months.

The waitress was very nasty when we asked for our food that was ordered over the phone. She actually rolled her eyes and said it was not ready. That is after we were waiting for 30 long minutes. I have ordered from Sonny before and got excellent service but this time it seems like the cashier and waitress totally ignore us. They never asked “ can we help you? nothing . I am very disappointed. I have to say the manager safe the day. She came out and ask what is the name of order and didn’t charge us.that was shocking but I am very grateful. The food is always delicious.
