The food is excellent, though somewhat pricey. It's a combination of dining and a show, which adds to the fun experience. The chef has a fantastic personality and remarkable skills. I recommend trying it at least once. Just be aware that it’s not the place for a quick meal. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Osaka Japanese Steak House:
Nice looking building! Very clean and food is good! Waiters need more training and be knowledgeable about ingredients and gluten-free options. For the cost food needs more flavor, I am sorry but that is the cheap cheap taste fries rice and shrimp. Also dinner entertainment tonight was everyone was cleaning near where we were eating. Conclusion is food overpriced service need improvement. View all feedback.
My first time in this restaurant was wonderful. wait a bit because we were walk-ins, so it is best to make reservations in advance to avoid waiting. the food and the service were exceptional. the chef was beautiful. interacts with everyone. kid friendly environment too. the drinks were strong. so they get their money.
Very good overall. The firecracker shrimp roll is not on the menu, but very good. Service was fast and friendly. Our go to place for quality sushi
Okay...... Lots to cover but hear me out. This is an expensive restaurant but that 's okay the food and service is very good. Appetizers... we got California rolls and no complaints! Yes, I 've been to restaurants that have messed those up, it can happen! I ordered steak/shrimp hibachi and added sea scallops. My food was great and there was a lot of it, which helps with the being expensive ding from earlier. However, two bites of my steak were completely fat. They were small but because it 's a flat top grill it was just jiggly fat.....no char no seasoning. If you look at the top left piece of steak you 'll see one of the all fat pieces) Rice, vegetables, noodles, and miso soup were all amazing and generous proportions. The biggest mark down or ding for Osaka is the room is far too big, the tables and grill would benefit from being secluded a little from each other. I 'll explain! The sound of high pitch tinging spatulas, roaring fires, popping grease and loud Birthday celebrations left me unable to communicate with my family sitting right next to me. I would have to lean towards them to hear anything. It turned into a lot of what did she say , what , and that 's crazy . Okay, so to wrap this up! Osaka is expensive but I do think it 's one of the best restaurants in Tallahassee. Food and service is great! If I could give 4.5 stars I would but I settled on 4 because I really didn 't like the excessive noise from other tables. I 'm a introvert so I judge that harshly.
Good experience, last night was excellent, the cooking show really good and funny. The meal good tasting, my suggestion is put less salt in the lobster
Mu daughter graduated fo FAMU and wantedbto go here for lunch. The food was good. Wait time was a little long but not to bad. Our server was ok. She forgot things and had to go back and get them. Our chef was boring compared to the other at surrounding tables. The other cheats made joke, did tricks and entertained the guess while preparing the food. Ours did nothing at all except say hello. Over all it was a good place to eat.
