What can I say about this little gem, well its a family run restaurant we visited here 2 yrs ago and had to return on this holiday too, the staff r so beautiful... read more What can I say about this little gem, well its a family run restaurant we visited here 2 yrs ago and had to return on this holiday too, the staff r so beautiful and attentive, the food is delicious and nothing is too much trouble, I ordered the mousakka and unfortunately it was dropped accidently coming out the oven, not only did they offer me something else free of charge they also made me a fresh moussaka to take away with me which was also delicious, if u r every in cyprus and visit the Tala area please visit voukani u won't b dissapointed from the food to the atmosphere and its located in the most beautiful place

The food arrived and it was amazing, I had asked for extra garlic and it made me feel extremely special as it was no problem at all.Then the waiter asked if I wanted any more garlic and how could I refuse. I guess by now you know I like garlic. It is these simple things that make you happy,unlike back in the UK where if you should even have the audacity to ask for anything else that might put the server out slightly makes the whole meal. The food 10 out of 10,waiter 10 out of 10,waitress 10 out of 10,chef 10 out of 10.Great place and great food,thank you to all.Danny and Sally

Good honest unpretentious taverna... read more We have had several meals in the past few weeks. My family were visiting and they liked it so much we returned several times. Good honest unpretentious taverna food with excellent service. A family run business where, nothing is too much trouble for them, you get a warm welcome from all of the front of house staff and when the busy kitchen duties allows the owner Nikos takes the time and trouble to say hello to all those dining. You can simply have drinks or a meal or like we did recently a few starters to snack on. The biggest failing at Voukani would be to not ask, they are very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. We are lucky to have Voukani on our doorstep just a few minutes drive from home. Voukani deserves to do well, they certinly make the effort for customers.
