Melitzia Taverna - Tala

Well the 15 minutes taxi ride from paphos, vegan meze was delicious and huge. many local food there. good value for money.

Came here for the vegan mezze and it was delicious! Salad, veg, lentils, beans, stuffed peppers etc. Highly recommend

I ordered the vegan plate and it was a generous portion and incredibly delicious. However, I was disappointed that they did not offer any vegan dessert options, only fresh fruits. They ended up providing free dessert, which included fresh fruits and non-vegan cakes. This detail was not mentioned in the previous review from March 28, 2022.

This lovely restaurant offers an amazing view of the sea and is ideal for both locals and tourists. We tried the vegan meze and were extremely satisfied. The traditional dishes were prepared with love and we had plenty of food for just €15 per person. Highly recommended.

I visited my parents in Tala and this restaurant was at the top of our list. It was great to find a traditional, family-run local tavern with a vegan option clearly marked on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was excellent and there was so much to choose from! The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be returning, and if I could give it 5 stars, I would! (Review updated as of March 13, 2022)
